From iconic, high-fashion spectacles to wellness takeovers, a cult classic return and Michelin-starred dining – West Hollywood is serving up its most exciting season yet.
5 September, 2025 - West Hollywood is rolling out a fresh lineup of events and experiences this season that showcases the city’s iconic blend of creative-cool, distinct culture and extravagant flair. There’s never been a better time to visit, or linger longer, in West Hollywood.
Mind + Body Month: wellness, in WeHo style
Mind + Body Month returns to West Hollywood throughout September, elevating the city’s reputation as an incubator for wellness innovation. Now in its second year and attracting visitors looking to explore this city’s deeply rooted wellness culture, this year’s program offers 95+ exclusive events, offerings and experiences over 48 venues within 4.9 square kilometres. From curated workouts, mindfulness sessions, beauty treatments to high-performance recovery offerings, the annual event showcases why West Hollywood continues to lead the charge in setting global trends in wellness, fitness, and self-care year-round.

VOGUE WORLD teams up with Visit West Hollywood
VOGUE WORLD struts into Los Angeles on October 26, choosing Visit West Hollywood hotels as the go-to destination for fashion, style, and design VIPs. Set for Paramount Studios, the high-glamour event blends couture runway shows, live music, editorial-style pop-ups, and front-row appearances from fashion icons and Hollywood stars. A ticketed celebration of creativity, all proceeds will support the costume community, with a focus on those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.
The Sun Rose: Sunset Strip’s coolest new hotel
The iconic Pendry West Hollywood property has officially rebranded as The Sun Rose Hotel West Hollywood, ushering in a vibrant new chapter for the Sunset Strip landmark. Named after its acclaimed live music venue that attracts iconic names like Stevie Wonder - who performed a celebration concert for the new opening - the name change reflects the property's evolving identity. The hotel’s signature luxurious sophistication remains, yet the change signals a deeper integration of art, music, and design into the guest experience - capturing the spirit of West Hollywood in full colour. Chef Wolfgang Puck continues to lead the hotel’s culinary vision at Merois, with an irresistible Asian-influenced menu that complements the rooftop restaurant’s open-air allure and skyline panorama.

Let’s do the time warp again: a nostalgic celebration of the Rocky Horror Picture Show
West Hollywood will be doing the “Time Warp” again, as fans slip into their fishnets for the 50th anniversary of the cult classic. Rewind to 1974 when the live production premiered in WeHo to make its U.S. debut, landing on the stage of The Roxy Theatre - a venue that was just as new, daring and ready to break the rules as the show itself. This year, on September 26th - 27th, an official fan convention takes over West Hollywood’s Roxy Theatre again, with panel discussions, original cast appearances, tributes, exclusive previews, shadowcast preshows, book signings and more. Continuing throughout September and October, themed Rocky Horror public events will span from the Academy Museum, The Grammy Museum, Hollywood Forever Cemetery and West Hollywood's Halloween Carnaval.
Halloween Carnaval returns
On October 31, the world-famous West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval returns to Santa Monica Boulevard in exuberant style. The larger than life street party features over-the-top costumes, performances and more than a few celebrities in disguise. Think Sydney Mardi Gras, but with vampires and drag queens on roller skates, all brought to you by Hollywood's most creative and best makeup and costume designing locals. Spectators can enjoy this once a year celebration only in the creative capital of California. Past guests include Lisa Vanderpump, Heidi Klum, and RuPaul’s Drag Race royalty. An elite culinary scene
A visit to West Hollywood has always been a treat for the senses, and several of the city’s restaurants recently earned well-deserved acclaim to underscore this point. In the 2025 MICHELIN Guide California, several West Hollywood restaurants were recognised for their culinary excellence including Somni, Connie and Ted’s and Ardor.
Somni earned the distinction of being the first to receive three MICHELIN stars, under the culinary direction of Chef Aitor Zabala, and described by critics as the only restaurant you need to experience in the entire USA. Diners are perched for a Chef’s Counter Experience with front-row views of the kitchen, for this multi-multi-course meal, learning why this Spanish-inspired dining destination has earned a place among Los Angeles’ most elite restaurants.
Connie and Ted’s is the much-loved seafood restaurant in West Hollywood – a sister venue to the only other 3-star Los Angeles restaurant, Providence – both run by Executive Chef Michael Cimarusti, the James Beard award-winning chef and passionate sustainability advocate.
Ardor at The West Hollywood EDITION showcases vegetable-forward healthy California cuisine with a menu spotlighting hyper-local organic ingredients, with dishes prepared simply and presented for social dining.
NEW: Welcome Darling, by award-winning Chef Sean Brock
Darling is a brand new grill house and vinyl bar from James Beard award-winning Chef Sean Brock. Centered around California cuisine and live-fire cooking, with a monthly rotating menu that will change up its exciting offering according to the seasonality of produce, seafood and meats.
