4 March 2026 - Travel Nevada has wrapped up its 2026 trade mission across the East Coast of Australia, giving travel agents, operators, and industry partners an exclusive look at the latest developments in the Silver State and equipping them to better sell Nevada experiences beyond the famous Las Vegas Strip.
Running from 23 to 26 February, the mission highlighted Nevada’s growing attractions, scenic road trips, and diverse experiences, with the core theme of “Get a Little Out There”.

Key events included celebrating the Nevada Trailblazers graduates, the Travel Nevada dedicated agent training programme, at special gatherings in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, and participation in the Visit USA Expo and Brand USA B2B day. These events provided trade partners with invaluable insights and networking opportunities with Travel Nevada’s Global Market Manager, Elsa Gomez, who shared the latest updates directly from the Silver State.
A standout highlight was the Travel Nevada virtual reality experience, which transported agents from the event space to Nevada’s diverse landscapes and renowned Dark Sky Park destinations, offering an inspiring glimpse of the unforgettable experiences that Nevada offers.
By aligning the mission with this year’s Visit USA Expo across the three cities, Travel Nevada maximised its visibility at one of the industry’s most important annual showcases of US travel. With Elsa Gomez representing Nevada on the ground at each event, the mission strengthened relationships with Australian partners and positioned the Silver State front-of-mind for travel planners designing broader USA itineraries.
Travel Nevada Australia/New Zealand Director, Corey Marshall, said “The mission’s goal was simple, to give Australian travel professionals the knowledge and confidence to sell Nevada beyond the Neon of Las Vegas. Most people know Las Vegas, but there’s so much more to discover. We want visitors to extend their stay, ‘Get a Little Out There,’ and explore Nevada’s diverse landscapes, experiences, and communities. By sharing the latest attractions and road trip itineraries, we’re helping the trade inspire their clients to experience the Silver State in exciting new ways.”
Travel Nevada Global Market Manager, Elsa Gomez, said: “We greatly value the opportunity to engage face-to-face with our Australian partners, and it was wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces while also meeting new partners over the past week. Australia continues to be a key international market for Travel Nevada, and we hope this mission further demonstrates our ongoing commitment.”
