Destination DC - Launches Incentive for Travel Professionals in Australia and New Zealand Through Special Agent Training Program

Destination DC is excited to announce the relaunch of a new agent incentive through the Washington, DC Special Agent Academy. The interactive training program is designed to equip travel professionals with the tools they need to become experts on the US capital. 

Travel professionals in Australia and New Zealand who complete the program by 14 April 2025, will gain valuable destination knowledge and be entered into a draw to win a spot on an exclusive FAM trip to Washington, DC in May 2025.

How the Special Agent Academy Works  

The Washington, DC Special Agent Academy is a user-friendly and interactive training platform that provides essential insights into Washington, DC’s vibrant neighbourhoods, iconic landmarks, cultural festivals, and unique offerings.  

Modules Feature:  

Mission Information: Essential details about Washington, DC.  

Mission 3M’s: Monuments, Memorials, and Museums – DC’s most iconic attractions.  

Mission There’s Only 1 DC: What sets Washington, DC apart from other destinations.  

Participants who complete the program will earn the prestigious title of being a certified Washington, DC Special Agent. They will gain exclusive access to Destination DC’s Tourism, Sports, and Visitor Experience team for ongoing support and resources.

Incentive Details  

Travel Professionals from Australia and New Zealand who become Certified Special Agents by completing the Special Agent Academy before 14 April 2025 will automatically be entered to win a spot on the 2025 Washington, DC FAM trip, which includes:  

• Round-trip airfare from Australia or New Zealand to Washington, DC  

• Accommodation in Washington, DC
