Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Heather brings over 25 years of global sales, marketing, communications and public relations.
She delivers specialized knowledge of destination marketing and the tourism industry, including Travel Media Relations and Travel Trade.
Heather began her career in sales and marketing at the end of her driveway selling Kool-Aid® to the other kids on her street. Lemonade stands evolved to working in hospitality and then tourism. She now pours her heart into representing travel destinations near and far.
Representing tourism, lifestyle and culinary brands, Heather has worked with local, family-run businesses to globally recognized destinations. She has held roles with Destination Canada, Destination British Columbia and Tourism Victoria (B.C.), where she led the Travel Media Relations program before overseeing sales in 10 countries as Director of Sales.
Heather serves as Canuckiwi’s Director of PR in Canada. She represents Travel Oregon, Travel Nevada and the Utah Office of Tourism; providing media relations and event management, and lending in-market expertise and travel trade support as needed. She brings dedicated relationships with media and industry and is committed to telling our client’s stories with creativity and style – she’s a university art school graduate and former graphic designer, after all.
