13 November 2025 – Destination DC recently welcomed three of the 2025 Sell Your Way to the USA incentive winners from Australia for a week-long FAM Trip, in collaboration with air partner Qantas.
Bianca Douglas Watt (Flight Centre Rouse Hill, Sydney), Clinton Griffiths (Globus Family, Sydney), and Maree Sterling (Travel on Capri, Gold Coast) experienced a five-night itinerary highlighting the very best of Washington, DC – from its must-see monuments to its lively neighbourhoods and thriving dining scene.
Destination DC Account Director – Australia/New Zealand, Corey Marshall, said “these winning agents experienced a fresh perspective firsthand of Washington, DC – from cheering on the home team at a roaring hockey game to exploring Georgetown’s historic streets and discovering the city’s incredible food scene.
The Sell Your Way to the USA program continues to play an integral part of our overall destination marketing strategy, providing frontline agents with first-hand experiences and exposure they can use as tools to sell the destination to their clients.”
The agents earned their place by participating in the Sell Your Way to the USA 2025 campaign, accumulating points on US flights with American Airlines and Qantas, land packages to partner destinations, and completing Brand USA’s Discovery Program badges.
Flight Centre Rouse Hill Senior Travel Consultant, Bianca Douglas Watt, said “the scooter tour around the city was an absolute highlight - it was a fabulous way to get an overview of DC and learn more about the monuments and memorials. Also, Wine Country in Loudoun! A hidden gem that none of my customers would know about but would love!”
Travel on Capri Travel Manager, Maree Sterling highlighted that from her experience, her clients would enjoy “Loudoun and the International Spy Museum and of course seeing all the monuments.”

The group also ventured to Loudoun County for small-batch candle making, historic hotel tours, and wine tasting at Stone Tower Winery, before returning to DC for a Monuments Sightseeing Tour with City Cruises and a thrilling Washington Capitals hockey game.
