When United Airlines were looking to launch a ski incentive for Australian travel agents in the lead up to the U.S. ski season, it was an easy decision for them to partner with ski resorts in Utah and Nevada.
An online training tool was built to generate top agent interest to head on the ski FAM.
The incentive provided agents with an opportunity to learn more about United’s offerings, some of the best ski destinations in Utah and Nevada, as well as to reward agents for taking the time to complete the training module. The top 10 performing agents will travel on United’s game-changing Dreamliner aircraft to Reno-Lake Tahoe or Salt Lake City in March 2017 where they experienced some of the most incredible skiing or boarding and après skiing activities in these regions.
While on this FAM, agents were encouraged to share their experience on social media with our #unitedskiFAM2017. We set them a challenge to share their photos on Instagram using this # as well as well as for Nevada: #travelnevada, #dontfencemein and Utah: #visitutah. Some of the amazing results are shown here.
