A four-line zipline opened in Connecticut on 15 March 2018. HighFlyer, is 350 feet in the air, off the rooftop of Fox Tower and landing over 3,700 feet away at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center. Foxwoods Resort Casino recently announced that it will begin building a high-performance, European-style indoor go-kart track that it expects to open early next year. Foxwoods is teaming up with On Track Karting to build the track. The attraction will provide guests with a motorsport feel on one of the longest and fastest indoor kart-runs ever constructed. The multi-level track will feature gas-powered, 9-horsepower karts that give drivers the power and control necessary for the ultimate high-speed rush.
New in 2018, at TimberStone Adventures Inc., is an experience where visitors can hike to a private mountaintop castle with panoramic views, while their gear is towed up a 300’ cable bridge. Museum of Dog: In February 2018, North Adams opened a new, one-of-a-kind museum dedicated to all things dogs. Located blocks from the country’s largest contemporary art museum, Mass MoCA, Museum of Dog (M.O.D) will feature a private collection of dog inspired paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs and accessories. The 8,000 square-foot historic space, at the merging point of Union Street and the Mohawk Trail, formerly housed Quinn’s Wallpaper & Paint.
